 The Book:  All my friends are dead.

The Gist:  An adult children's book that showcases the downside of being old, a dinosaur, a plant, a pirate, and many others.

Why It's Creepy:  This book is not really creepy since its audience is adults.  However, I do know a family who accidentally purchased the book for a child.  This book is actually great - it's cute and dark all at once.

The Book:  Macbeth For Kids

The Gist:  A version of Macbeth "suited" for kids.

Why It's Creepy:  Let's see.  Maybe the fact that it looks like someone is being boiled alive in a giant kettle?  Or maybe it's because the subject content involves murder?
